~STRANGE~
When I was younger, I remember something like this happening:
I walked into the kitchen, complaining to my mom that my sister (or someone else, I can't quite remember) thought I was doing something weirdly, or that I was strange. She looked at me with a look of confidance on her face and said,"People thought Jesus was weird."
I had never thought about it like that. Now, I think that the best answer when someone says you're weird is, "Thank you!"
I was recently listening to a Rebecca St. James song when I thought of this. I was exited over something to post about.

I think Jesus was right and everyone else is weird. We should all ride donkeys into cities - it's the only way to make an entrance.
And we should walk on water too. Swimming is so weird! Who would want to travel in the water?
Yes, jesus was right, but since everone else wasn't, they found him weird. They must have thought it was weird how he could walk on water. When I say weird, i don't mean wrong.
Thanks for commenting. Glad to see you've been on.
You're right, Sunny_12.
Jesus went against the flow of things. He didn't live for Himself, but for His Father (God). We also as followers of Jesus Christ need to imitate Him and be "weird".
Great post!
I'm WEIRD! PICK ME!!!!
Yeah, so right. I tell you, I always say "thank you" when someone calls me somthing. Like the time I thanked Josiah for telling me I was weird. He looked at me funny. I left the room, then laughed there.
I like being weird...just ask Daisy and Austin.
Lanna
cool! You just gave me something to post about lol (besides what we figured out over the phone.)
Thanks guys. I like being weird, too.
Lanna,
I know you like being weird and I don't have to ask anyone about that! I have to live with you.If anything, they should be the ones asking me. :D
ummm.......................
You guys are insulting my two best friends! Oh! How do you DARE???
Ya'll are weird.
Thanks Austin! :)
oooooo. Goody goody. I get computer time.
I love being weird.
Do any of you all know about Dave Ramsey, the Christian debt guy?
He says, "If being in debt is normal, honey, I want to be weird."
And then, there's always: "If Jesus is 'wrong,' baby, I don't want to be right."
I just wish you all granted in your beliefs Jesus the deity He possesses. But I digress...
Thanks for commenting. I've never heard of him.
So anybody know what I should post about??????
um hi Jo!!
I get computer this morning!
Kingdom advancer,
Never heard of him. Though, I do agree with him. "If poverty is normal, than I want to be weird."
Oh! Guess what guys! Someone told me that I'm weird!!!
We were loading up in the car to go home from play practice, and the four boys in the back were all goofing around. I turning to them and said,"You guys are weird." and one of them said to me,"You're weird." I replied,"Thank you." and he said,"That wasn't supposed to be taken as a compliment."
That was weird of my to write that.
Yes, I've heard of Dave Ramsey. He's great.
You guys are weird. :)
Hi I'M BAAACKK!!!
Jo,
A while ago we were talking about whether Jesus is God, and I found another verse that I hadn't given you before because I hadn't noticed it. I'm not going to launch a discussion on that again (unless you choose to), but I will at least give you the new verse for reference so you can continue thinking about this subject with all the resources you need.
"Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God that He acquired through His own blood"
-Acts 20:28 (Young's Literal Translation)
Quiz: Who acquired the church through his blood? Jesus, right? Of course! But this verse says God did it with his own blood.
Paul not only says that God acquired the church through his blood, but he stresses that it's his own personal blood by adding the word "own". God acquired his assembly through his own blood. Just another verse to think about. Email me if you have a question, otherwise I'll just let you think about it on your own.
Another thing you should know: I've been studying the very early church fathers (the REALLY early ones - the ones who knew the Apostles!) and they affirm the divinity of Christ. Polycarp and Ignatius were disciples of John, and they were also friends with Peter and others who had seen Jesus and heard him speak. Both Polycarp and Ignatius affirm that Jesus is God in their writings. Just something worth noting.
I won't start an argument.
Thanks Austin, for giving me what you have.
